Monsters that you can see depicted below are the result of a very important evolution in my pictorial path: I strongly sought and wanted them, to be able to detach myself definitively from the real form that characterized my beginnings as an artist.
It is since 2010 that these characters have become the protagonists of my fantastic world and have accompanied me for several years, with their ironic gaze aimed at the viewer. With them was born the idea of choosing for my works the titles of classic novels of international literature, another great passion of mine. Although today they no longer belong to my imaginary world (take a look at my Abstract Painting page) I can only think of these entities as the means that allowed me to reach the abstract art that characterizes me today.
